On The Upside:

 AVT, Inc. (OTCQB: AVTC.OB) designed a new redemption system for Mountain Dew which allows consumers to place empty plastic bottles in a machine and receive a t-shirt made from 50% recycled plastic bottles and 50% cotton in return.  The stock shot up 29% to $2.00.

Shares of Bourque Industries, Inc. (OTCPink: BORK.PK) popped 19.32% to $1.05 after the company  announced that its Level III stand-alone Kryron Terminator Armor received certification from the National Institute of Justice.

American Standard Energy Corp. (OTCQB: ASEN.OB) was higher by 6% to $3.02 after the company announced that it closed on a $20 million private convertible notes offering with affiliates of Pentwater Capital Management, Ltd.

On The Downside:

Shares of Umami Sustainable Seafood Inc. (OTCQB: UMAM.OB) fell 13% after the company released earnings for its second quarter which showed a spike in revenues from the reduction of inventory.

CGA Mining Ltd. (OTCPink: CGAFF.PK) reported a loss for the six months ended December 31, 2011 and shares responded by dropping 5.52% to $2.18.

The ADRs of Xstrata Plc (OTCPink: XSRAY.PK) slipped 4.49% after the company announced that it may sell a 20% stake in its proposed Wandoan project located in Australia.
