Grill Concepts, Inc. Third Quarter Report

November 30, 2011

Grill Concepts, Inc. (OTCPink: GLLC.PK) reported revenues increased 8.6% to $17.6 million for the third quarter ended September 25, 2011. The company cuts its net loss in half to $1 million or ($0.05) per share. The reduced net loss was primarily the result of increased revenues and relatively flat operating expenses.

For the first nine months of 2011, the company reported revenues increased 7.5% to $55.3 million. The net loss for the period was sharply reduced by better than 60% to $2.2 million or ($0.13) per share. The reduced loss was the result of increased revenues and operating expense that were held in check.

Several factors impacted the increase in revenues for both periods in 2011 when compared to the same periods in 2010. The company saw same store sales increase 6.9%, opened a Daily Grill in the Westin Hotel in Los Angeles on Century Blvd. in April 2010 and opened Public School 612 as a micro brew expansion to its downtown Los Angeles Daily Grill restaurant on March 8, 2011.

Grill Concepts currently has a negative equity situation with a stockholders’ deficit of $10.5 million.
