American International Industries, Inc Announces Record Date For Special Dividend Of Brenham Oil & Gas

American International Industries, Inc. (NasdaqCM: AMIN) announces a record date of June 16, 2010 for the special dividend of Brenham Oil & Gas (BOG). It is expected the shares of BOG will be distributed on or about June 30, 2010.

According to a statement by BOG President Scott Gaille, the business plan for BOG is to acquire a diversified portfolio of petroleum exploration development and production assets in the United States and internationally with a focus on exploration concessions located offshore Africa.

Currently, the only known asset of BOG is an oil and gas royalty interest in a unit operated by Anadarko Petroleum located in Brenham, Texas. Both Scott Gaille, President, Director and L. Rogers Hardy, Vice President – Technology appears to have experience in African offshore petroleum licensing and exploration.

AMIN is a diversified holding company whose assets include holdings in industry, finance, oil & gas, and real estate holding primarily in the Houston, Texas area.
